A 55-year-old male is brought in by ambulance with palpitations. He is placed into a resus bay and has intravenous access inserted. He has no chest pain and his vital signs are as follows:

  • HR 180 bpm
  • BP 120/80 mmHg
  • Sats 96% RA
  • Temp 36.5°C
