Case: Presumed renal colic
A 75-year-old man is referred by his GP for presumed renal colic. He has worsening flank pain and is now pale. Vitals: HR 110/min, BP 95/70, RR 24, SpO2 97% RA, Temp 37°C. Past history includes renal colic, hypertension, hypercholesterolaemia and smoking. POCUS for shock is negative. A screening AAA scan is performed.
