Case: Seizure
You receive a BAT call of a 34-year-old male from a local shopping centre. When the ambulance arrived he was having a generalised tonic clonic seizure. It was estimated the seizure lasted for approximately 20 minutes before CDA arrived and administered Midazolam. His BSL on scene was 6.3. A friend that was with him says he has no history of seizures but does not know much else about his PMHx. His vital signs on arrival are: GCS 9, SBP 110/60, PR 90, RR 12, Temp 37.8. Atier your initial assessment he is transferred to CT for further investigation.
